To preface this amazing footwear, I was dragged, not entirely unwillingly, to the Celine Dion Concert Tour movie last night and, to be honest, she can put on a good show. The backstage footage was highly entertaining considering she's just so happy and quirky and really a open hearted person. It was almost National Geographic status with all the countries she traveled to and, while there, took full cultural advantage.

Anyway, her costumes were amazing, especially considering she's got Constance Jablonski's body at age 40. Celine rocked some amazing capes and dresses that I swear defied gravity, but these boots, worn with a sequined white mini dress, were show stopping. Some have deemed them stripper status, but I embrace the thigh high boot trend of last fall, and subsequently, these bondage boots.

I have no idea who made them. I did some sleuthing to discover the wardrobe coordinator Annie Horth chose pieces from Versace, Givenchy, Christian Dior, Emanuel Ungaro, Balmain, and Alaia. However I haven't found evidence of any brand claiming ownership.

Regardless of their origin, I thought they deserved an honorable mention in the world of shoes and if I could get my hands on them, I would wear them to every club in the city. Probably without pants.
